INGREDIENTS
- 1 piece of brioche or challah bread (about 1½-2 ")
- 12 Marshmallows
- 4 large eggs
- 1 glass half & half
- 8 ounces of instant hot chocolate, prepared and refrigerated
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Whipped cream, chocolate syrup and hot chocolate mixture to serve (optional)

- Take one slice of bread and carefully make a 2 "slit with a knife, being careful not to stab the side of the bread. Insert two marshmallows into the gap. Repeat with the remaining bread.
Whisk 3 minutes
- In a large casserole dish, add half & half, eggs, and cold hot cocoa and whisk to combine completely.
Melt 2 minutes
- Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat (you may need to add more butter to the pan when you fry it!) Preheat the oven to 325 ° F.

- Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture (about 1-2 minutes on each side to really absorb the hot chocolate flavor!)
Fry 10 minutes
- Place 2 slices of bread in the pan and fry until golden brown and fresh, about 4-6 minutes per side.
